Retaining Wall Contractors in Central Texas
Retaining wall installation, erosion control, and grade-change walls built for Central Texas soils and slopes.
Slopes Move. Retaining Walls Stop Them.
Unstable slopes, eroding banks, and unusable grade changes cost you yard, driveway, and sometimes foundation. As experienced retaining wall contractors, we design and install retaining walls that hold soil in place, manage water, and turn awkward slopes back into usable land.
Retaining Wall Installation Done Right
We spec the wall to the site — block, stone, boulder, or concrete — and build in proper base, backfill, and drainage every time. That's why our retaining walls don't bulge, lean, or fail two seasons later.

FAQ
Retaining Wall Installation FAQ
Common questions about retaining wall contractors, retaining wall installation, and erosion control walls in Central Texas.
How much does retaining wall installation cost?+
Retaining wall installation cost depends on wall height, length, material (block, stone, boulder, or concrete), how much excavation and grading is required, and whether the wall needs engineered drainage. A short landscape wall is very different from a tall grade-change retaining wall behind a house pad. We give free on-site quotes so the number matches the actual scope.
What kind of retaining wall is best?+
It depends on the job. Segmental block retaining walls are the go-to for most residential grade changes and landscape work. Boulder and stone walls fit well on ranch and rural properties. Poured or reinforced concrete retaining walls make sense for tall walls or heavy loads. As retaining wall contractors we spec the wall to the site, not the other way around.
Do retaining walls need drainage behind them?+
Yes — proper drainage is what separates a retaining wall that lasts from one that bulges and fails. We integrate gravel backfill, drainage stone, weep holes, or French drains behind every wall we build, based on wall height and soil conditions. Skipping drainage is the top reason DIY walls fail.
How tall can a retaining wall be?+
Segmental block walls up to about 4 ft usually don't require engineering; taller walls typically need engineered plans, geogrid reinforcement, or a switch to concrete. We build within manufacturer specs on shorter walls and coordinate with engineers on tall walls where structural design is required.
Do you also handle the excavation and grading around the wall?+
Yes. As excavating contractors, we handle the full package — excavation, cut-and-fill, base prep, wall construction, drainage, backfill, and finish grading. You don't have to line up separate crews for the dirt work and the wall.
